The role of an educational counselor at a primary school from the point of view primary school pupils

The diploma thesis is focused on the role of an educational counselor in elementary school from the perspective of elementary school students. The theoretical part of the work is oriented to the system of consulting services in the Czech Republic, legislative anchoring and insight into the history of consulting services. For the coherence of the text, cooperation with a pedagogical- psychological consultancy, a special pedagogical center and an educational care center is also mentioned in the theoretical part. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the role of an educational advisor. Prerequisites and qualification requirements for the performance of the work of an educational consultant are described here, followed by the ethical principles of the work and, last but not least, the activities of an educational consultant, which are reflected in the practical part. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. It focuses on elementary school students. Quantitative research was chosen for the practical part of the thesis. The empirical part was implemented in the form of a questionnaire survey, the questionnaires were distributed to eighty-eight pupils in the eighth grade and one in the ninth grade. The cooperation between family and school in the case of pupils with special educational needs from teachers' point of view

Annotation: Michaela Kaštánková Pecháčová's diploma thesis "The cooperation between family and school in the case of pupils with special educational needs from teachers' point of view" deals with the issues of school-family cooperation. It is divided into a theoretical part, which describes the functions of the family and school, forms of cooperation and communication between both parties. It also focuses on the role of educational counsellor and form teacher. Theoretical knowledge is mainly from the field of pedagogy, psychology, didactics and special pedagogy, as well as from professional experience. The second part of this thesis is the research. The research consists of two parts. The first part deals with the area of expertise of the educational counsellor during the online education. The second part researches the opinions of the teachers about the problematics of the cooperation between school and parents in primary educational system using qualitative interviews with teachers and subsequently their analysis. Possibilities of cooperation with schools and other institution in the issue of pregnancy children in the selected region

SUMMARY: This thesis is devoted to the issue of pregnancy in children. The work is divided into the theoretical and the practical parts. The theoretical part is processed with the help from professional litareture. With the help of direct and indirect quotes the author tries to bring closer the terms related to reproductive health, physiology of the femile genital organs and sexual education in the education system of the Czech Republic to the readers. The part and parcel of the theoretical part is the prevention of pregnancy and the possible consequences for the child, as for the mother as well, both biological and psychosocial consequences. The second part of the thesis is focused on the specific objectives. By using the method of interviewing the author this describes the situation of incurred pregnancy in 2010 , not only with the respondent, but also with an educational consultant of the elementary school and also with OSPOD social worker, under which the incurred preganancy case fell. After analyzation of the interviews there is a final recommendation for the elementary schools about the possibilities of prevention and proedure in the case of pregnant underage girls as well as recommendations for the girls on how to behave and who to contact in a case of finding a pregnancy. The effect of the type of profession on the perception of stress

The thesis reviews scientific findings relevant to the issues of stress and burn-out syndrome in its theoretical part. It focuses both on the general description of the two related phenomena and their detection and prevention options, as well as on the relationship between them and the individual{\crq}s specific professional specialization. The research part of the thesis concentrates on mapping out of severity and frequency of stress situations, on feelings associated with the burn-out syndrome, and on the possibilities of social support systems among the respondents working in different types of professions and represented by three samples: teachers {--}future educational counselors-, managers in supranational consulting companies, and therapists providing care for individuals with mental retardation and psychiatric disorders. The present work further looks at differential subjective perception of stress events among these professions. Questionnaires BMS (Ayala Malach-Pines, 2005, The Burn-out Measure Short Version) and JSS-CZ (Spielberger, Knotková, Man, 1999, Inventář pracovního stresu) were used for the data collection, as well as additional personal questions. In addition, the results{\crq} implications and their limitations for possible generalizations are discussed.
